Are you going through a tough time in your life? Do you feel overwhelmed with grief, worry, confusion, stress? If not, do you remember a time when you were?

It's so easy for us to think that life will never get better, that our sorrow will not dissipate. Yet, that's not how suffering works; rather, suffering is often just the means by which we grow in holiness. It's a means, not an end. Thus, the sorrows we experience are guaranteed to end. What a beautiful promise.

Today, remind yourself that this too shall pass. "We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!"
